This is when the frames are installed, along with the roof cover, the lower layer of the roof that is peeled and glued and the windows and exterior doors, and you can really see the house taking shape. The rough carpentry stage is also when the builder takes the final measurements of the cabinets before placing the order.
Another thing to consider when creating the construction schedule for the new home is the possibility of damage. If the floor is placed before the cabinets, there is still a lot of work to be done on the new floor, which can leave scratches, scratches and cracked tiles. You can see in the photo above that the granite cabinets and countertops were installed before the floor. This removes many of the heavy objects from the road before leaving the precious new flooring material.
